Compact Blu-ray Marking Machine

The 20W Blue Light Compact Marking Machine is a desktop precision marking device that uses a blue light laser. Unlike traditional infrared fiber laser marking machines, the short wavelength of blue light lasers gives them unique processing advantages on certain materials, making them particularly suitable for highly reflective metals (gold, silver, copper) and heat-sensitive materials.

Product Details

The device is compact and lightweight, making it easy to place in the gaps of standard office desks, laboratory benches, and small workstations.

Thanks to its compact size and light weight, it can be easily moved between different workshops and workstations, and because it is inexpensive, it can be used on a one-time, emergency basis.

Surface-Peeling Method: For coated materials (such as the solder mask on PCBs or anodized layers), the blue light energy is strongly absorbed by the surface coating, causing it to vaporize and peel off instantly, exposing the underlying material without damaging the substrate.

Thermal Marking: For organic materials such as wood, leather, and certain plastics, the blue light energy is absorbed by the material’s surface and converted into thermal energy, causing the material to carbonize, discolor, or melt, thereby creating a mark.

Significant Advantages for Highly Reflective Materials

Materials such as copper, gold, and silver exhibit extremely high reflectivity toward traditional infrared lasers (copper has an absorption rate of only about 5% for 1064 nm lasers), resulting in low processing efficiency and the risk of damaging the laser. However, their absorption rate for 450 nm blue light is 5 to 10 times higher, enabling high-quality marking with ease.

Meets the “Cold Processing” Needs of Organic Materials

When processing wood, kraft paper, leather, textiles, and even certain foods, blue light enables clear marking while minimizing the heat-affected zone, thereby preventing yellowing, scorching, or curling of the edges.

Exceptional Cost-Effectiveness and Flexibility

Blue laser technology allows for direct processing through transparent materials—such as when marking directly on food packaging or labeling products already wrapped in transparent film.

Compact Design and Long Service Life

Blue lasers are typically compact, air-cooled, easy to integrate, and have low maintenance costs.

For users who need to precision-process precious metals and heat-sensitive materials, and who seek high precision, multi-material compatibility, and desktop-level convenience, the 20W blue-light compact marking machine is a professional tool that complements infrared laser marking machines, offering irreplaceable advantages in the processing of specific materials.

As a “desktop-level precision processing tool” for small workshops and precision machining, it offers advantages over infrared lasers when processing specific materials.
